One of the smallest counties in Ireland and often referred to as Northern Ireland's lake district, County Fermanagh is the perfect holiday destination for boating and other water based holidays. The 70 km of lakes situated in the county are now linked to the Shannon system in the Irish Republic via the Shannon-Erne Waterway Canal, making the entire system the longest navigable inland waterway in Europe.

The Lough Erne Canoe Trail is a 50km trail linking Upper and Lower Lough Erne with the Shannon Waterway and taking advantage of some of the most beautiful scenery in Ireland. This is the first dedicated canoe trail to be developed in Northern Ireland or for that matter, in the UK.

Whilst the trail can be paddled in either direction, the starting point is Muckross in Lower Lough Erne (the northern lough). A further 9 access points are described on the guide (below) with the final destination being Crom Estate on Upper Lough Erne (the southern lough). Paddlers can choose to canoe the entire trail or just a section.

Share Activity Centre at Lisnaskea is the perfect environment for outdoor activities. The lakeshore venue is ideal for watersports and the purpose built site provides easy access to all onshore activities.

Share has a proven pedigree in running outdoor activities. The Centre is a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Recognised Teaching Establishment and a British Canoe Union (BCU) approved teaching school. Water based activities include:

Banana Skiing
Kayaking
Canoeing
Dinghy Sailing
Keelboat Sailing
Windsurfing
Viking Longship Cruise

The Lakeland Canoe Centre is based on Castle Island in Enniskillen, where Upper and Lower Lough Erne meet. It has exclusive use of the island, giving a secluded setting, yet it's just a stones throw from the centre of Enniskillen, and the local leisure centre.

The centre offers a wide range of adventure activities for both day and residential groups. Including: open canoeing, kayaking, kayak surfing, dingy sailing, body boarding, surfing, raft building, archery, orienteering, hillwalking, crag climbing, abseiling, adventure games, gorge walks, adventure walks, night lines and treasure trails. These activities take place on and off site in suitable selected locations.

Tudor Farm Watersports is a Royal Yachting Association recognised training centre which offers accredited powerboat and personal water craft courses. Also offers waterskiing and wake boarding tuition from an Irish Water Skiing Federation accredited instructor. All equipment is provided and participants are welcome to bring their own boats, jet skis and water ski equipment. Tudor Farm offers ensuite accommodation on site and there is a changing area by the shore. In addition canoeing is also offered.
